Byron Township is a perfect little town to raise a family.  Byron Township is also a large producer of farm crops.  The locals love to live, work and play peacefully and safely in this cozy community.  The locals so enjoy everything that this region has to offer.  Whether the weather is warm, or is wintry cold, there is always something to do and see.  The local parks, rivers, trails and facilities keep residents busy and bring them together in fellowship and community.  

In the nearby town of Grandville, many Byron residents can be found at the Grandville Farmer's Market from 9 am to 1 pm every Tuesday.  It is closed during the colder months, but summer through autumn (June-October), it is bustling with people. If you happen to visit the market then you should really check out the The Grandville Historical Museum.  This museums contains exhibits and relics from the region. There is also No. 10 Schoolhouse, which can be found inside of Heritage Park. There, you will find an working schoolroom with desks, and other historic items.

Ada Township, also quite nearby, maintains 4 parks.  In the warmer months, there is a great deal to see and do. Head out to the Grand River Nature Area on a beautiful spring and summer day. The preserve has many concrete trails and footpaths for those who desire to workout, take a stroll or just relax amid the foliage.  Habitats, social history as well as the nature within the area are described and discussed on signs displayed beside the paths.  The town of Byron Township runs 3 parks of its own and has tons of great activities for kids and adults.  They have leagues for everything from softball to pickle ball and annual events are a “must do” for the entire community.
